1. Introduction
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs requests for refunds and cancellations of services provided by Clickretina Private Limited("Clickretina", "we", "our", or "us"). It applies to both our SEO retainer service and our Android app development service. Please read this Policy carefully before engaging our services.
This Policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions. In the event of any conflict between this Policy and the Terms & Conditions, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
2. SEO Services (Monthly Retainer)
Our SEO service is provided on a monthly retainer basis, billed in advance at the start of each month. The following refund and cancellation terms apply:
Cancellation notice: Either party may cancel the SEO retainer by providing 15 days' written notice to the other party. Notice should be sent by email to [email protected] and must clearly state the intention to cancel and the requested effective date of cancellation.
Cancellation before work commences: If you cancel your engagement before any work has commenced for the billing period in question, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that period. A refund request must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of payment.
Pro-rata refund: If you cancel during an active billing period and deliverables for that period have not yet been fully delivered, we will calculate the proportion of the month's work that has not yet been performed and issue a pro-rata refund for that uncommenced portion, at our discretion based on work completed.
No refund after delivery: No refund will be issued for a billing period in which the agreed monthly deliverables have been substantially delivered, including (where applicable) keyword research, on-page optimisation, link building activity, and the monthly performance report.
Data and access handover: Upon cancellation, we will provide you with all data, reports, and access credentials belonging to you, including Google Search Console access, Google Analytics 4 access, and all monthly reports produced during the engagement.
3. Android App Development (Milestone-based)
Android app development projects are structured on a milestone payment schedule as specified in your project proposal. The following terms apply:
Cancellation before a milestone commences: If you cancel the project before work on a particular milestone has commenced, you are entitled to a full refund of the milestone payment made for that uncommenced milestone.
No refund once milestone work begins: Once work on a milestone has formally commenced — evidenced by design work, code development, or documented kickoff — no refund will be issued for that milestone's payment.
Delivery of completed work: Upon cancellation at any stage, we will deliver all completed work product to you (including source code written, design files created, and documentation produced up to the point of cancellation) upon receipt of outstanding payments for work done.
50% advance non-refundable after discovery: The 50% advance payment required to commence an app development project is non-refundable once the Discovery & Scoping phase has formally begun. This reflects the significant upfront work involved in defining the project scope, requirements, and technical architecture.
4. General Terms
How to request a refund: Refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to [email protected]. Your request must include: your name, company name (if applicable), the invoice number or reference, the date of payment, the reason for the refund request, and your bank account or UPI details for the refund.
Processing time: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of approval and returned to the original payment method where possible. Timelines by payment method: UPI and direct bank transfers typically complete in 3–5 business days; card refunds typically take 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer and bank.
No refunds for completed and delivered services: We do not issue refunds for services that have been completed and delivered in accordance with the agreed scope of work.
5. Exceptions
No refund will be provided in the following circumstances:
Client non-cooperation: Where delays, failures, or unsatisfactory results are caused by your failure to provide required access, content, approvals, feedback, or information within agreed timelines, no refund will be issued.
Client-initiated scope changes after commencement:Where you have requested and approved changes to the original agreed scope after work has commenced, no refund will be issued for the original scope or the changed scope once the relevant work has begun.
Dissatisfaction with organic results: SEO and digital marketing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithm changes, market competition, and website performance. Dissatisfaction with organic search results does not constitute grounds for a refund where the agreed services have been performed.
